The Lithium Ex Fire Extinguisher has an incredibly long discharge time. Upon discharge, the fire fighting agent is very gently applied over the fire as a very fine mist, cooling the fire and encapsulating the battery to stop thermal runaway.
 
Very importantly, the agent is easy to clean up after a fire occurs as compared to traditional powder fire extinguishers. The agent itself does not conduct electricity, making it suitable for use on electrical equipment. Different capacities are available for different sizes of batteries. Certified to EN3 standards, this fire extinguisher has been rigorously tested in Europe.
